BASTIEN IS TAKING HIS TALENTS SOUTH
Allendale student to play baseball for the 2013 NJCAA National Champions
Allendale senior Trevor Bastien will continue his baseball career next year at Central Alabama
Community College. Central Alabama C.C. is a top junior college baseball program in the
country, winning the 2013 NJCAA baseball national championship.
Trevor is a three time all-conference, and all-district, infielder heading into his final season with
the Falcons. Last season he was recognized as all-region and first team all-area. He’s currently
participating on the varsity basketball team, for the third consecutive year, and was a two time
all-conference honorable mention football player.
Trevor not only excelled on the field, but off as well. He is on track to graduate with greater
than a 3.8 GPA. Trevor took time out of his busy schedule to read to elementary students
during fall football season, mentor younger students by conducting hitting lessons during the
summer, and is a greeter at his church.
Trevor says he is excited to take this next step in his playing career. He’s looking forward to playing for head coach Steve Lewis and helping the program achieve it’s goal of another national championship. It’s always been a dream of Trevor’s to play baseball down south, facing some of the best competition in America while enjoying the warmer weather. He is undecided
on a major, but hopes to connect his love of sports with the business world.
